ELDIM at IDW'08 With 3D displays conference

ELDIM's R&D application manager, Dr. Pierre Boher will present a conference about 3D Displays at Niigata IDW'08.

Dr. Pierre Boher, ELDIM's R&D Application Manager, will present a conference in the 3D/Hyper-Realistic Displays and Systems workshop friday the 5th of december, room 301 at 9:00. "Autostereoscopic 3D display characterization using Fourier optics instrument and computation in 3D observer space. Autostereoscopic 3D display characterization method based on high angular resolution viewing angle measurements with Fourier optics instrument is presented. From the luminance or color measurements of the different views of the 3D display we predict what will be seen by an observer in front of the display. Combined contrast, optimal viewing position and viewing freedom can be visualized and quantified in the 3D observer space.
