Last year over 19,800 visitors had the opportunity to see more than 600 companies display the latest in semiconductor equipment, materials and services. This event successfully blends a world-class exposition with industry-specific programs that focus on the hottest business and manufacturing topics.

The current state of the region and the forecast for the Taiwan semiconductor industry is incredible. Taiwan has ten 300-mm fabs currently in production and another seven either under construction or equipping for operation. Nine 300-mm fabs are in the planning stage, some already publicly announced. To support this robust manufacturing activity, the Taiwan equipment market is forecasted to reach $7 billion by the end of 2007 and $8 billion in 2008*.
